Another Shady Rest Scholarship Recipient in the Department

Dimitar Dimitrov is a third-year Physical Therapy student at FGCU. He graduated from the University of West Florida in 2018 where he received his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and plans to open his own PT practice one day, where he would focus on treating and training volleyball players. Dimitar enjoys the year-round warm weather of Florida, much different than the snowy winters in Bulgaria where he grew up. Fun fact: one of Dimitar’s favorite foods is peanut butter, which he tried for the first time when he moved to the states!
