Learn About FGCU’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) – The Skills Advantage
January 31, 2025
This year, FGCU launches an exciting new initiative – The Skills Advantage: From Campus to Career. The Skills Advantage is FGCU's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) which aims to help undergraduate students develop career-relevant general skills like critical thinking, teamwork or communication, and share these skill sets with employers for better job market outcomes.
The QEP is a major institutional improvement project that is part of FGCU’s upcoming re-accreditation through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
You may have seen signs around campus and received a copy of The Skills Advantage 8-page brochure, which outlines the program. Whether you are faculty, staff or administration, there are ways to get involved in this campus-wide project.
