Mark your calendars for FGCU Give Day 2025
February 04, 2025
Give Day is FGCU’s annual 24-hour period where the community comes together to raise funds, compete for prizes and foster FGCU spirit. Beginning at noon March 26 through noon March 27, join FGCU in making this year the most impactful yet.
FGCU students and Azul give a Wings Up to show their Eagle pride.
“This year, the FGCU Foundation has replaced its traditional faculty/staff appeal with this singular effort to inspire employee philanthropy along with our communities,” said Kitty Green, vice president of Advancement and executive director of the FGCU Foundation. “As a valued member of FGCU’s faculty and staff, your philanthropic support makes a powerful statement about your belief in our mission, so please consider participating.”
This year, the goal is to reach 1,000 donors. Here’s how faculty and staff can participate:
- Join the Give Day 2025 Fundraiser Team: Give Day fundraisers effectively promote FGCU Give Day via email and social media in alignment with your area’s funding priorities. The Give Day planning team is already hard at work securing cash challenges and lucrative prizes, so this is an excellent opportunity to raise funds and win prize money for your area of FGCU. To represent your area as a fundraiser for FGCU Give Day 2025, apply at bit.ly/4fQNLzO before Feb. 7.
- Donate: Visit GiveDay.FGCU.edu and explore over 65 causes and initiatives.
- Spread the Word: Let your colleagues and friends know Give Day is coming up. This annual tradition is more than just a day; it’s a celebration of Eagle pride and the collective power of giving back.
FGCU Give Day began as a way to unite the FGCU university community—alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends—around a common goal: supporting the programs, scholarships and initiatives that make FGCU extraordinary. “Your participation as faculty and staff is especially meaningful. When you give, you demonstrate to our students and alumni that FGCU is more than a place to learn—it’s a community that believes in its mission and future,” said Green.
