Hands-on experience is the hallmark of professionalization, and we understand the importance it has for employers. The History Program has had tremendous success in arranging internships for which students receive credit by enrolling in HIST 4940 History Internship.
We pair students both with faculty research projects as well as with community and nation-wide partners. These internships allow the students to use the skills they have learned in the classroom and to hone new skills that can be utilized in both the private and public sector.

- Rare book cataloging
- Oral history methodology
