Under direction of the Office of the Controller, Finance & Accounting maintains accounting records, collects and disburses university funds, monitors the budget and prepares the Annual Financial Report. The functional responsibilities of Finance & Accounting are to:
- Maintain an accurate and effective accounting and reporting system
- Provide campus leadership in the development of effective control systems to safeguard university assets
- Maintain the university's banking relationships
- Coordinate the efforts of all internal and external audits
