Finance & Accounting

Our primary objective is to maintain public trust and confidence in FGCU by providing quality financial and accounting information, safeguarding university resources and consistently advancing its vision and core missions.

Under direction of the Office of the Controller, Finance & Accounting maintains accounting records, collects and disburses university funds, monitors the budget and prepares the Annual Financial Report. The functional responsibilities of Finance & Accounting are to:

• Maintain an accurate and effective accounting and reporting system
• Provide campus leadership in the development of effective control systems to safeguard university assets
• Maintain the university's banking relationships
• Coordinate the efforts of all internal and external audits
