People spend most of their waking hours at work, in organizations small, medium or large, from start-ups to rapidly growing industries. The purpose of management is to lead change in the world of work, to help organizations reach their full potentials and individuals to become their best selves.
  • The goal of the degree is to prepare students for successful growth and leadership in organizations and to advance their careers in management.
  • Graduates of our program pursue a variety of exciting and rewarding careers in regional businesses, leadership roles in global companies and anything in between. 
  • Three optional concentrations are available in the program: general management, human resource management and sports management.
  • Students are also encouraged to enhance their career readiness by engaging in professional internships, study abroad programs, research projects with skilled faculty members or other available opportunities for professional growth. 

The Bureau of Labor Statistics states the following about the career prospects for management Occupations:

"Employment of management occupations is projected to grow 8 percent from 2016 to 2026... which will result in about 807,300 new jobs. Employment growth is expected to be driven by the formation of new organizations and expansion of existing ones, which should require more workers to manage these operations. The median annual wage for management occupations was $102,590 in May 2017, which was the highest wage of all the major occupational groups."
