Graduate Students

Full time status – enrollment in 9 or more credit hours
Part time status – enrollment in fewer than 9 credit hours
- Apply to Grad School: Check the application deadline and admission term for your selected program.
- Submit the Graduate Application and $30 application fee
- Submit supplemental materials, including official test scores, and official transcripts. Email to grad_docs@fgcu.edu. Electronic submission should be in PDF format. - PDF transcripts and scores received by the student are considered unofficial. Official records are required upon admission.
- DPT, MPAS, MSOT, and MSAT applicants submit their documents (including test scores and transcripts) ONLY through the PTCAS, CASPA, OTCAS, or ATCAS.

Residency classification is a state-mandated requirement that must be submitted upon admission. Please log into your Future Eagle Account to complete the residency form. Click the "View" link in the Action column next to your submitted application to view your list of supplemental items. You can then click on "Start" for the Florida Residency for Tuition Purposes Form.

Certificate Students
Toggle More InfoGraduate certification and continuing education experiences are offered for the purposes of enhancing knowledge or skills, often for career development or acquisition of professional credentials. Individuals who have earned a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent foreign institution and plan to pursue an FGCU certificate program or take courses to maintain their certification may do so as a post-baccalaureate non-degree status.

Post-baccalaureate Non-degree Students
Toggle More InfoIndividuals who have earned a bachelor's degree and wish to enroll in credit courses may do so with post-baccalaureate non-degree status. Students are limited to 9 hours of graduate coursework. Students may apply as a post-baccalaureate non-degree status while seeking admission into a graduate program. Non-degree students may be required to obtain permission to register for classes. Contact the professor or program office for your selected course(s) directly.

International Students

Distance Learning Students
Toggle More InfoProspective students residing in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia or Wisconsin who wish to pursue a graduate degree or certificate program entirely online within their state of residence may submit an application according to university procedures.
Students from states not listed above who are interested in pursuing an online degree/certificate program entirely from within their state of residency may not be eligible to apply (due to their home state's law) and are invited to consult their state's higher education licensing authority to discuss their situation.
