FGCU Academy is Seeking New Instructors From the Southwest Florida Community

The FGCU Academy seeks subject matter experts, professionals, retirees, former teachers and academics, or those with lifelong hobbies or interests who want to share their knowledge and passion. Join the FGCU Academy and become a lecturer in Collier, Lee or Charlotte counties.  Lectures are offered in-person at one of our 21 locations or can be offered online.


What

The FGCU Academy offers lectures, short courses, and moderated discussion groups.

When

Available year-round, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each lecture lasts between 75 and 120 minutes, including time for Q&A.

Instructor

Lecture Topics:

Explore a diverse range of subjects, including art and art history, archaeology, business and finance, computer and technology, and ecology and environment. Additional topics cover history, law and government, health, wellness and medicine, life enrichment, literature, music and opera, philosophy, and photography and photo editing. We also offer lectures on psychology, religion, faith and philosophy, science and astronomy, sociology, writing workshops, and U.S. and world affairs.
