TITLE: Critical Issues in Education from Global Perspectives
In this COIL project, students explored the topic of diversity and education from different perspectives. As we know, we access all human activities through the lens of our culture. Therefore, for becoming culturally competent professionals, it is imperative to critically reflect on topics from our perspectives, and then consider these topics from another perspective.
In this assignment, students select a topic of interest to explore, and each student developed a visual project on the selected topic to communicate the issue. In teams of 2 or 3, they discussed these topics with their partners in Italy. The project concluded with reflection papers.
