- Peer tutors are students just like you who have successfully taken the class and want to help you be successful in it as well!
- Peer tutors are highly qualified and trained to support you. They will be interactive with you in the sessions:
- - asking questions to have you think through concepts and processes
  - having you practice problems and concepts
  - guiding you to resources for additional support.
- The FGCU Academic Policy prohibits tutors from assisting students in the completion of homework or any graded material.
- - Complete your homework/assignments in advance of the session.
  - Bring questions, previously graded work, class notes, textbooks, and any other materials needed for the course.

**Tutor & SI Leader positions are available to undergraduate and graduate students. Leaders go through extensive training in order to offer the best services to students. Leaders work closely with faculty and staff, with some sitting in on classes in order to be familiar with the methods used by the instructor. If you are interested in becoming a tutor or SI Leader, submit an application.
