Emergency Notifications and Timely Warnings
Given the nature of incidents which occur both on and off campus, The Florida Gulf Coast University Police Department would like to remind anyone interested in receiving information of this nature to sign up with the RAVE Alert notification systems. All current faculty, staff, and students are automatically enrolled in the FGCU Alert System. If you do not receive the alerts and are a current faculty, staff, or student, please ensure your information is correct in Banner/Gulfline or Workday. All current faculty, staff, and students can also update their information in the RAVE Guardian app on your mobile device.
Emergency Notifications
In the event of a significant emergency or dangerous situation occurring on the campus that involves an immediate threat to the health or safety of students, faculty, and staff an FGCU Alert-Emergency Notification will be issued. The Emergency Notification will provide instructions and updates on the situation.
Timely Warnings
In the event of a serious or continuing threat to students, faculty, and staff that is reported to a campus security authority an FGCU Alert-Timely Warning will be issued. The Timely Warning will provide information regarding the incident, along with safety tips and resources.
