Team By-Laws
Purpose:
- Ensuring a culture of continuous improvement through the use of curricular and co-curricular student learning assessment.
- Advise the Provost, the Vice President for Student Success and Enrollment Management (SSEM), and other University Administrators on policies and procedures for the creation and assessment of student learning outcomes within individual academic programs, the General Education program, courses, and in co-curricular activities in compliance with best practices in higher education, program accreditation requirements, and compliance with standards established by University’s accrediting body.
- Meta-Assessment will be conducted to review and provide feedback on assessment plans and biennial/annual assessment reports to ensure the procedures and processes are being followed and used to effect informed changes in the curriculum and co- curriculum where needed.
- Lead the collection of accreditation materials needed during University accreditation cycles.
- Facilitate professional development activities and opportunities for the university community as it engages in the process of assessment for continuous improvement.
