Celebrating Beautiful Teaching

This spring we at The Lucas Center for Faculty Development wanted to give students the opportunity to celebrate faculty who make a positive impact on their lives through beautiful teaching. Teaching and learning have been especially challenging during the pandemic, and asking students why they wanted a particular professor recognized for teaching beautifully gave them a chance to show their appreciation for the meaningful work done by one or more of their teachers. After reading the thoughtful and inspiring comments submitted by FGCU students, we shared the students’ sentiments with the teachers they identified, and now we share them with you.
