The second phase of renovations began early February and is slated to be completed March 2026. The focus is on the outdoor atrium area that lies between the two staircases next to Einstein Bros. Bagels and the food court. Once renovations are complete, the area will be enclosed.

On the first floor, renovations include the relocation of the information booth to a more centralized location. A new seating area will also be added.

On the second floor, three conference-style rooms will be added to help create a more collaborative space for students. The second floor will feature a seating area overlooking the first floor.

During the year-long renovation, daily operation inside Cohen will not be affected, and food services will operate as normal. The lawn area outside of Einstein’s is temporarily closed, and a temporary sidewalk has been created for navigation of the area.
