The Honors College is home to approximately 1200 students. It is the only college serving students from every academic program.
Honors Advising
Development Funds
Funds allocated specifically for students in the Honors College to pursue opportunities in the Elements of Honors. For example, students can use funds to study abroad.
Honors Admissions
Whether you are an incoming freshman, current student, or a transferring from another institution, you have a place at the Honors College. Actively monitor e-mails and Honors Monday Messages for updates on invitations to apply.
Honors Housing
The Honors College offers campus housing communities where new and continuing students
can thrive. Honors students are not required to stay in housing. The benefit is offered
to build a community of future innovators and leaders.
Honors Thesis
The Honors Thesis is an original piece of scholarly work and a culminating academic achievement at FGCU. This research experience is a stepping stone for students intending to pursue a graduate degree, or a challenging undetaking motivated by intellectual curiosity.
Honors Houses
Explore the Honors Houses, a community of five, that help students build a sense of purpose and offer leadership opportunities. Students are sorted into one of five hourse - Dolphin, Flamingo, Manatee, Panther, and Sea Turtle. The intended purpose of these houses it to form communities of like minded individuals.
