Honors Embedded Course

Honors Embedded Courses (HEC)

Honors Embedded Courses (HEC) are one of many ways to obtain honors credits. HEC offer faculty the opportunity to expand their teaching by incorporating projects, or activities, that address one or more of the Elements of Honors.

Honors Credits

Successful completion of an Honors Embedded Course (HEC) will provide students the opportunity to earn honors credits. HEC are open to all students while providing honors students a curricular path to earn honors credit toward graduation. Upon successful completion, honors credits will appear on the student's transcript.
