First-Generation Students
First-Generation Students Excel is a 3.5-day pre-semester experience specifically designed for first-generation students. Being a first-generation (first-gen) student means that your parent(s) did not complete a four-year college degree in the United States. You will be connected with important campus resources and involvement opportunities, and meet other new students, faculty, and staff.
Eagles Excel
Immerse yourself in a learning opportunity with your peers to have an unforgettable experience before classes even begin. Participate in mock lectures, exams, meet faculty & peers, and more. Participants who register will have access to the program, breakfast, lunch, transportation, an FGCU T-shirt and a chance to move in early.
