Student Success Counselor

Kelly Liu is currently serving the position of Student Success Counselor at the Undergraduate Advising Office in the Marieb College of Health & Human Services at FGCU. She has 18 years of experience working in different education sectors in the areas of student recruitment, admissions, and advising (higher education), international education program development and evaluation (private sector), and fundraising and development (non-profit organization). Prior to joining the University Advising Services team at FGCU, Kelly served as the Director of Scholarships at the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools overseeing the Take Stock in Children program in Lee County and scholarship administration and management.

Kelly has two master’s degrees: M.A. in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in the U.S. and M.A. in European Languages and Cultural Studies from the University of Bradford in the U.K. She is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Education (Ed.D) program at FGCU. Kelly is keen on helping each student to reach their fullest potential and succeed academically and professionally, and to develop into a civically engaged and culturally competent global citizen. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, watching documentaries, cooking, and performing community service.
