Along with One True Podcast host, Mark Cirino, our podcast-inspired book, One True Sentence: Writers & Readers on Hemingway's Art, was published through Godine in August 2022. It includes an introduction by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick and nearly 40 interviews with scholars, writers, artists, and other luminaries. I have also published scholarly articles in The Hemingway Review, F. Scott Fitzgerald Review, and Poe Studies as well as annual chapters for American Literary Scholarship.

I have presented work at Modern Language Association conventions, Modernist Studies Association conferences, and international Ernest Hemingway Society conferences.

In 2022, my work on podcasting and the public humanities was awarded a Seidler Student/Faculty Undergraduate Scholarly Collaboration Fellowship. I was also awarded a Scholarship-Research Venture Capital Fund grant in 2019 to develop a digital humanities project connected with a recently acquired WWII diary within our university archives.
