Dr. Mustafa Mujtaba received his doctoral degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL), after which he conducted two years of postdoctoral research in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital (Boston, MA). He is currently teaching and conducting research in the Biological Sciences Department at Florida Gulf Coast University. He is an active member of the American Association of Immunologists and the American Society for Microbiology.
