
Fassbender, Joyce (Ph.D.)
Dr. Joyce Fassbender is an instructor and entomologist in the Biological Sciences department. Her teaching interests include introductory biology for majors and non-majors and courses in entomology. She strives to create a supportive, interactive learning experience for her students. She also works with undergraduate students to do senior research in insect biodiversity, pollinator/plant interactions, and carrion-feeding insect biodiversity and nutrition. She is member of the Entomological Society of American, North American Forensic Entomology Association, and the American Arachnological Society.
