Aparajita (Apra) Rajwade is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Education in the Department of Ecology and Environmental Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University. She has a PhD in Science Education from NC State University and holds two prior master's degrees in Biodiversity, and Environment and Development. Calling India home, she has had the privilege of working with urban and rural audiences spread across the biodiverse region of Western India. Apra specializes in informal environmental learning among diverse communities and is dedicated to making environmental education fun, accessible, and equitable. She is also interested in understanding how underrepresented populations perceive and engage with climate change-related challenges. She is a member of the National Association for Research in Science Teaching and North American Association for Environmental Education.
