Durso, Andrew (Ph.D.)
Andrew Durso was born in New York and grew up in North Carolina. He is a snake biologist with a focus on population and community ecology of snakes, currently investigating crowd-sourced and artificial intelligence approaches to snake identification. He has been a member of the Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles since 2009 and the North Carolina Herpetological Society since 1999. Dr. Durso joined the faculty at FGCU in 2020.
