Arts
The Bower School of Music & the Arts presents 200 art, music and theatre events each year. The Arts Complex and Music Building are the cultural heart of campus.
Athletics
Our Eagles compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference in NCAA Division l. Nine of our 15 programs have been ranked among the nation’s Top 25, and student-athletes regularly achieve higher GPAs than the general student body.
Student Success
A 20:1 student-faculty ratio ensures smaller class sizes and personalized learning. More than 70% of students receive financial aid, and 59% graduate with no debt. Tuition has remained the same since 2013.
Sustainability
FGCU is committed to sustainability best practices in operations, academics, engagement and planning/administration, earning a gold rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (2024). Half of our campus consists of preserved or restored nature.
Community Impact
FGCU contributes about $600 million annually to the regional economy. With their service-learning commitment, students have cumulatively provided 5 million volunteer hours since 1997 to help individuals, nonprofit partners and communities.
