2022 Guidelines for Juried Student Art Exhibition entries
FGCU STUDENT ART ENTRY GUIDELINES 2022
(If, after reading through all of the guidelines, you have a question not addressed,
please email asturdiv@fgcu.edu or call 239-590-7199).
All entries must have been created during the time you have been enrolled at FGCU.
All entries must be exhibition ready; i.e., ready to hang or place on pedestals. You may submit up to 6 pieces of work.
Paintings, works in frames, etc., all must have d-rings or be wired. If you have a
particularly heavy piece, you are advised to use d-rings.
All unframed works on paper will be hung using clips and plexiglass, which the gallery
will supply. However, all work must be matted and backed using white mat board (no foam core will be accepted). All work must be of even dimensions
(8" x 10" rather than 8.15" x 7.25"). Framing of works on paper protects your work and is greatly encouraged.
Standard sizes that the gallery can accommodate for covering your works on paper for
exhibition that are not framed.
If your work does not fit within these dimensions and is not framed, it will not be
accepted for jurying.
