Nurse Anesthesia (M.S.N.)

The Nurse Anesthesia Program is a 28 month university-based program leading to a Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) degree with a major in Nurse Anesthesia. It is the only university-based nurse anesthesia program leading to a M.S.N. in Southwest Florida.

Class of 2016 Facts

  • Total number of graduates: 15 
  • First-time pass rate on the National Certification Examination for Nurse Anesthetists (NCE):  87% §  First and second-time pass rate on the NCE:  100%
  • Employment rate six (6) months post-graduation:   100%.
  • Attrition Rate:  6%

    Interviews for applicants will be held during the months of JUNE and JULY

    A supplemental application is required for the Nurse Anesthesia program The application may be accessed through NursingCAS, a centralized application system for nursing programs,  Applicants must also apply for admission to FGCU through the Office of Research and Graduate Studies.

Student Profile

The student profile provides the interquartile ranges (25th - 75th percentiles) of the entrance exam scores for students admitted to the program. This information is intended to assist applicants in determining opportunities for admission.
